Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to browse, design, and order from 3Display, including people using a screen reader, keyboard-only navigation, or other assistive technology. We're working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, as referenced by EN 301 549.

What's in place

• Every field on the checkout, custom-design, and "notify me" forms has a real, visible label — not just placeholder text.
• Colour pickers, size/shape/frame choices, and the tile-layout grid are built from real buttons with proper keyboard support and screen-reader labelling (aria-pressed, aria-label).
• Every popup dialog traps keyboard focus while open, moves focus into it on open, can be closed with Escape, and returns focus to whatever you were on before you opened it.
• A "skip to content" link is available as the very first Tab stop on every page.
• The order-celebration animation respects your system's "reduce motion" setting.
• Form errors are announced to screen readers as they appear.

Where we're still working

This is a genuine, ongoing process, not a finished claim of full conformance. What we haven't gotten to yet:

• Not every animation on the site has been individually checked against "reduce motion" — only the order celebration so far.
• We don't yet run an automated accessibility check (axe/Lighthouse) in our build pipeline, so regressions could slip through unnoticed between manual passes.
• A full manual screen-reader pass (NVDA/VoiceOver) hasn't been done end-to-end.

We're fixing these incrementally rather than waiting for one big release, and this page will be updated as they're resolved.
